Hey hey hey,
Happy Monday my lovelies! We are enjoying every second at my mom's but so happy I drafted up all these posts that I have been wanting to share.
Books books books. We are lovers of all types of books and honestly have too many (it's so hard to let go of any of them!! Even the baby board books!)
I have said this before but we keep a stash of seasonal and holiday books in a container in the girls closet. We LOVE pulling them out and it feeling like brand new books for them to read or look through. It keeps them excited about books and I LOVE that.
When I pulled out the summer ones I saw we only had a few so I thought I'd surprise the girls with a couple of new ones, so I thought I'd round up some favorites that we have and some I hope to add.

You guys this summer has started off rough but I am honestly reminding myself of this short time we have when our kids want to run through the sprinklers with us, when they want us in the pool or building sand castles. And don't get me wrong I pray for days when I can relax on a beach, plan trips around our own wanderlust or maybe look a little better in a bikini but this is our time with them.
It's as straightforward as this : the time with books about baby's on the beach, worrying about sunscreen applications and nap time times, times worrying about the balance of learning and fun it just all goes too fast. So F'it and jump through the splash pad, eat every meal outside, plan day trips or long weekends or be a tourist in your own city. Whatever you can do to make it time for you TOGETHER. The rest I swear to you is just details, and it will all pass.
