We don't have a ton of travel coming up but we do have some small road trips, including Vermont! So I was going through all of our favorite travel entertainment from when we frequently made the 5 hour trip from NYC to my my mom's and thought it was time I re-shared our favorites. These are almost all ones we have used and love with the exception of a few new things, (like the camcorder and car organizer) that I want!
For any travel that we have done I have kept a "bag of fun", this usually has a bunch of small things that they can do to entertain themselves, resorting to screen for right before they are due to sleep. Ami gets really car sick so we try to refrain from a ton of screen time in the car. And to be honest a Audible book while they do any activities really keeps the girls engaged at home and in the car! Every child is different, but the more you try audio books the longer they keep kiddos entertained, so I suggest trying to play them at home while they color or play-doh (before a trip) for 15 minutes at a time and extending when you feel the are enjoying.

Don't forget to store these away when you arrive at home so that they can seem like brand new toys when traveling or have in the car at all times and rotate them when kiddos need some entertainment.
