30 Fun and Easy Ways To Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day With Kids

Ok ok ok I know what you are thinking, we are soooo not Irish. But the truth is, after the harsh winter I feel like everyone needs a little something to make it fun.

I love how this and this site for a way to explain where the holiday comes from, busting myths and what traditions some families have.

I keep it simple, with some crafts, a sensory box and a snack board but when I was looking for ideas I saw some good ones that I thought I would share!

Snack board, this veggie/fruit/treat one is a fav. This dessert one is a great movie night one! This charcuterie board is the perfect lunch and how cute is this Leprechaun?! This one looks so fun, love a mix of veg and treats.

Spread the luck and love. These would be awesome and easy to drop off to friends and neighbors. Also love these printable notes, oh gosh these rainbows are cauute,

Homeschool mamas, or anyone looking to supplement education at home I love adding some fun monthly math sheets for our morning basket work. This challenge looks fun, I also have this whole set for Zoe and this one for Birdie. I print and whole punch into a binder that I keep with my prep stuff, this way as I plan our work I add sheets to switch up the work.

Serve it! Fun meals always makes a holiday feel special, these pancakes are easy and special or these green ones (you can use dye or spinach! I love making my dino muffins too. These potatoe bites or this post with all of these different green foods. I am going to try a version of these floats! Another post with naturally green foods. Ok this breakfast is cute!

Activities/ Crafts. You know I love any reason for a themed activity.

I bought this set two years ago, which they used a few of them, I am putting them out tomorrow as a morning activity. This set is coming on Monday, I feel like they will have a blast with them and we can share with some friends for virtual playdate.

I have this bingo set that we have played in Zoe’s Kindergarten class and now we pull it out for the month for family games. Laminate the sheets!!

Sensory & Science Activities

Gold dig looks fun, I am also going to make a sensory bin with some dollar tree accessories. Fizzing shamrocks, St Patricks Day science experiments.

This little play-doh tray is a fun way to use some of the little decor. I am going to make the play-doh with the girls as an activity. I also pinned these STEM activities for bribery for getting through the homeschool days (no shame in my game 😹).

Books,

If you have followed me long enough you know books are my top way of introducing anything and especially holidays. Here is a post I rounded up.

Oh and I may get this for our classroom, that I can pull out every year, I am a sucker for some holiday decor.

And remember mama, you can do one or all thirty of these but most of all I am sharing because it’s something I do to brighten up this last month of the winter blues. My love language has always been time, and bring joy so I will be taking advantage and changing up our schedule in the coming weeks to take myself out of this funk. I truly you look at these ideas as a way to plan some magic into your schedule.

I have also pinned a ton of content here that you can save for next year.

xoxo

Natalie
