Winter Beautycounter Favorites

hey hey lovelies!

We made it!!! TGIF. It's going to be super cold this weekend so we have a little meal prepping, cleaned the house and I finally got ready. AKA showered and threw on a little eye liner and my Dew foundation because mama looks TIRED.

And it got me thinking that I have been promising my Beautycounter favorites for a while now, so I thought I'd squeeze it in since some of them are part of the Winter Sale until Sunday. I'm also including a few things I am about to order from the sale. :)

But first let me tell you a little about why I choose Beautycounter. 4 years ago I brought home a tiny preemie baby, with super sensitive skin. And I was lucky enough to have already started eating cleaner, more organic foods, more in season fruits and veggies and reading INGREDIENTS while pregnant. But bringing home my tiny Z from the NICU ignited a fire in me to search for better quality products (from cleaning products, to detergent, soap and anything that touched the little ones skin).

And the more I read about ingredients, especially in anti-aging products, the more I knew I had to find better. And gosh did I try. Skincare was semi easy, but pricey but I could NOT find non-toxic makeup that I loved. In come Beautycounter, about a year ago and goodness I was sold. Started with sunscreen and then I dipped into the rest!

It took me a while of introducing other people to the product before I jumped on the wagon on becoming a consultant. Mainly for the discount (wooohoooo!!) but now I feel like I have to share, like I am hurting you by not telling you about skincare & makeup that not only are safe for you but that WORK. So here I am, doing what I feel like I have to do, spreading the word on safer skin.

I have a long way to go to replace all of my products but hoping to get there with you guys, so please ask away with any questions or better yet some BC reviews.

Ok so here are the favs and I have a lot under skincare because for me winter is when my skin needs a lot more love.

Cleansing balm - magic in a bottle. and a very large bottle at that. I use this as a cleanser in the evenings and as an overnight mask a couple nights a week. This ultra moisturizing balm can be used on cracked dry skin (like sensitive teething baby cheeks, as a makeup primer (my favorite!!) and even a lip moisturizer. And although it's the most expensive BC item in my drawer the ingredients are so great that a tiny bit goes a long way.

Rejuvenating Night Cream - moisturizes your skin as you sleep and I wake up with my skin that looks so hydrated and glowy in the AM. Formulated with marine extracts and safflower oleosomes, the cream helps intensify the nightly cycle of natural skin repair.

( I really want to try this Rescue Eye Cream!! )

Nourishing Cream Exfoliator - I use this in the shower, because multi-tasking. Love that it cleans without feeling like it strips my skin of moisture. Non-abrasive jojoba beads help slough off dry skin, while organic coconut oil and aloe soothe and hydrate.

Charcoal Cleansing Bar - My friend Sara sent a sample of this to me before I joined and I am so sad that I hadn't tried it before. I started seeing a difference in a week and a month in and it's a big difference. It's like a detox for your face. Made with antioxidant-rich, organic green tea and hydrating organic coconut oil, the gentle formula can be used daily on your face and body.

Rejuvenating Day Cream - A little goes a long way with this, super moisturizing and brightening day cream. I wear it every day.

(I've heard amazing things about this day cream too)

The Matte Bronzer (both #1 & #2 are on sale!) . Love this bronzer!!! not cakey at all and I use it for contouring too.

I have both foundations but for every day I love Dew Skin Moisturizing Coverage - which is a tinted moisturizer, light coverage but leaves your skin glowing.

Eye liner - I have had this for a month and I AM IN LOVE. It goes on smooth, last all day and it feels great to know it's non toxic when going pretty much in my eye!

I would like to try this brightening facial oil, actually I am adding all three to my collection because winter skin is killing my glow... lol Also ordered this Brightening Facial Mist, (all three of the mists are on sale!) which I can't wait to try.

Hope this is helpful for all of you lovelies that requested my favorites, but seriously message me with any and all questions, happy to talk about all of these or your skin needs. And I'll be sending out a set of samples to all orders over $100!
