Hey there girlfriend, yeah you, the one with the winter baby.
Or if you are like me, with more than one winter baby. Have you been scheming up a plan to keep it small or perhaps do nothing at all?
But then that mom guilt steps in like, woaaaahhh. And it's true they don't get many birthdays at home. Or many birthdays where they want mama's and dada's around.
So you plan the big party, clean the house, buy the food, find the entertainment and then get stuck with ALLLLL the mess. Guys it is worth it.
The smiling, excited little face is totally worth it. But let me tell you the biggest thing I have learned about winter birthdays...
THEY ARE BETTER DONE ELSEWHERE
Yes you heard me. Better done somewhere else other than your home. Somewhere that orders the food, sets up and cleans up. Throw in someone to keep them entertained is BIG. We had someone come play a music class for Zoe's birthday, our local yoga studio last year and this year we hit the ball out of the field when Imajine That reached out to help make Zoe's first birthday as a big sister something memorable.

Seriously a hidden gem. Everything about this place reminds me of places I have been to when we lived in Boston (looking at you Mama & Me in JP, we miss you guys!!) but it's bigger and lots more parking. Ha! They even have a play space for babies, an arts and crafts area, events and a cafe.
But wait, the absolute best part about birthdays at Imajine That has to be about the incredible staff that they have at your fingertips. From picking out the right package, to ordering food (or you can bring your own!) to helping with set ups. I especially loved the add-ons, we of course chose Moana!
Another great thing is that the clean up is not your responsibility, as our time in the private birthday room ended a team swooped in to breakdown the party and clean up. Baby Ami had been really sick for a couple weeks (which later turned into pneumonia) and no one at the casa de Rowe was getting any sleep, so having everything taken care of was a dream.
Cannot thanks these folks enough, for the kind attentive staff, the great food and help with keeping our kiddos entertained.
