Happy Friday! We made it!!! Well somewhat... LOL
The weather is totally confused around these parts, 80 one day, 60 the next and then 70 and humid today. All it is asking for is for a house full of sickies. Well in our case, a toddler who woke in the middle of the night on Monday with a high fever, one that continued until last night. Add in the hubby's board meetings and then a business trip that he left this morning for and.... Well let's just say I miss wine. Like INSANELY miss it. Instead, I had a sitter so I could go food shopping, takeout pizza for dinner, pumpkins to paint and a really early bedtime for both of us. And although it's not as good as a nice glass of wine, it will certainly have to do.
Trench (old H&M) // Bag (vintage Fendi crossbody, want this one) // Boots // Dress (last season Old Navy) // Karen Walker sunglasses //
A trench is a timeless piece that can instantly upgrade an outfit. This one is a cape which is a preggo' dream. Comfortable but not constricting. I bought it a few years ago and so happy I dug it out of an unpacked box from our move (yup untouched boxes a year later is right!!! Eeeek.). While pregnant I go from sweating to freezing to sweating again and this loose fitting, very vented cape trench is the perfect remedy.
And who can resist plaid in the Fall? So fashionably cliche but it is honestly my favorite part of Fall wardrobe, that and boots. As you can see by my last two posts! This non-maternity dress is from last year (wore it here without a bump) is almost too short to be worn without tights or leggings (hello humungous bump) but I pulled it off with some OTK boots.
Now off I go to wrangle a sick toddler into the bath and let's pray she sleeps through the night because guys, I am TIRED.
PS. Look below for some favs from this season!
