{Mi Casa Mi Puerta}

Hello loves!

Three months in and we are still slowly moving along on projects at Casa de Rowe. One thing I really wanted to do was paint our front door (see my inspiration post here), I felt like it needed some love and wanted to see if we could save some money and buy one we love later on when we didn't have a million projects going on. So while our painter worked on a few other rooms I had him do the front door. (If you guys need a painter in the Merrimack Valley area please inbox me, he is amazing.)

I think he perhaps hated me afterwards because it needed a few coats (and still needs some touch ups) but I was so happy with the results. It gives it a little drama. The good Gilmore Girls drama that I can appreciate (can you believe the show is coming out with movies??!).

I am a strong believe in paint doing wonders. It modernizes, cleans up and really makes a space/object completely yours.

The door mat is RUGSUSA I chose the 3x6 because our stoop os pretty large and I am so happy I did, lanterns are old Pier 1 and wreath is a Homegoods score but this one is similar. Love this, this and this one for Christmas!

I am in love with it!!! We also painted the inside part of the door but will share when I reveal the entry (if that ever gets done!). We are in the middle of picking out outdoor lighting and we want to replace the hardware and add numbers. I also wanted to pot the plants in nicer planters but by the time I get to it they'll may be dead or time for Christmas decor... lol For now it is a much better first impression than before, don't you think?

Can't wait to complete it and share the final product!
