A post 2 days late after a couple weeks of "not getting to it" doesn't seem so bad guys.... LOL But really, I have been MIA from the blogging world, engulfed in what feels like the never ending teething and now a pretty bad upper respiratory infection. Plus the frozen tundra, I won't even go there.... But you Bostonians know what I am talking about. This mama is going INSANE.
This is pretty much the outfit I have been wearing if I have to look presentable because everything is a little more glam with leather leggings, red lipstick and a big ol' hat, right? I wore it to a playdate/lunch date/brainstorming session a couple weeks back. The over the knee boot is pretty much on rotation with my sorels and rain boots, because really nothing else works when sludging around in snow with a toddler who just wants to walk solo, "down down down peessse" is all she says when I am holding her, if she only knew that I'd pay good money to be carried around! And the dress (more like tunic) is comfy, washable and black, which in my book means I should have bought two of them!
Oh and thank you to my mama who bought me the hat from Nordstrom's because it is the only way to sport air dried bedhead. Please don't ask the last time I actually had it blow dried....
