{An Everyday Black Dress for the Win}

The weekend has come and gone. How it happened that quickly, I do not know… Ours was spent doing the things we love about summer, long walk to the Roslindale Farmers Market, the park, brunch at Sophia's Grotto, and lunch at my mom's.

Nothing on the to-do list was completed and O did all of the cooking = ABSOLUTELY PERFECT weekend.

So while I play catch up, meal prep and run errands I leave with this under ten bucks dress. Seriously, go buy it now. I picked it up at H&M during the event and I wish they had it in other solid colors because I'd run back! I can already see myself pairing it with boots and a long cardi come fall or dressing it up with a nice clutch and a leather jacket for date night.

This mama is all about dressing up the inexpensive piece, especially since by the end of the day I am wearing most of what Z has eaten. Life has changed my friends and I am trying my best to look good but be comfortable and this black dress fits the bill.

Oh and the hair!! Do you like? I love it. It is exactly what this mama needed. It's a lot shorter than I was thinking of going but I figured a couple more inches and I could donate, WTH not. Thinking it may be even better a little shorter.

The hair has this mama feeling chic again and the mister loves it too! Thanks to my girl (and cousin-in-law) Jenny at Lord & Lady's in West Roxbury for holding my hand and going for it.

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend and cheers to me getting dressed on a Monday, even if it is just a 10$ dress!!
