Most of you have heard me rant about being on the hunt for a bigger place and selling our town hous but before we can do that we are working on completing some projects and de-cluttering to help stage the house for buyers because the Boston real estate market is NUTSO. We worked so hard to give our kitchen a facelift last spring, got our patio spruced up, {which by the way, we have enjoyed so much this summer} and are almost done the master bathroom! My main concern is not spending crazy amounts of money on things that may not fit or be right for the new space, so I find myself buying accessories to step up the space.

Now that the master bathroom is almost complete, I have been dreaming about updating our master bedroom. Since the baby came this winter, we have found ourselves retreating to our bedroom for evening unwinding, reading or whatever show we are binge watching that week... I am also in there to pump a lot more than I'd like to admit, so I want a space that feels comfortable, luxurious, relaxing and romantic

I am a big fan of H&M Home, especially for unique pieces to complete a room and well the inexpensive price tag is a selling point for the mister. Here are a few things that I am loving to complete our space.

I am usually drawn to soft hues for a bedroom, especially with my linens but I am loving the deep greys that I have been filling my closet with for the Fall and thinking it may spill into my decor. With a pop of color coming from the rug I just purchased… I am a big fan of candles {this, this, this} on the night stand, this rug for layering and this cake plate is just perfect for housing my jewelry of the day. I have been wanting to re-pot a couple plants to bring into our bedroom and thinking this glass vase would be a sweet nightstand addition. I don't know about your house but ours always has an abundance of dry-cleaning coming in and out of the house, so a basket to keep things organized. Switching out knobs on an Ikea dresser is my infamous way of giving a generic piece a new look and I love these!

The great news I am sharing today is the newly renovated H&M's Newbury Street Store is re-opening on Thursday, August 7th from 10am-noon, and you are invited! They will continue to offer collections for ladies, men, juniors and children, as well as Bostonians} this location is one of only four stores in the country currently carrying the H&M Home collection!! To celebrate the re-opening, H&M will offer the first 200 shoppers an H&M tee and Access to Fashion Pass, valued from $10 to $300. If that's not enough, there will be even more ways to save:

  • Selfie to Win: The first fifteen customers in line to tweet / instagram a selfie with the hashtag #BostonLovesHMHome at the lovely @BosFashionista will win a free outfit, one free H&M Home item, and a style consultation with yours truly, courtesy of H&M*!

  • Secret Password: Tell the cashier the secret password (BostonLovesHMHome) for 20% off one home item*.

  • Global Garment Recycling: Help H&M kick off their global garment recycling program by donating unwanted pieces of clothing (from any brand) while in the store. Customers will receive a voucher for 15% off one item on their next purchase for each bag of donated clothing. Even better, customers who bring garments before the store opens at 10am will also have the chance to win H&M gift cards, valued between $50 and $100.

This post is sponsored by H&M but all opinions are my own.

Hope all of you Bostonians can make it into the store and check out the collection and for those of you not in the city, check out the online shop, NOW! Follow along my instagram while I attend the event end on Thursday!

Happy Monday lovelies,

xo
