{Loving Right Now: Spring is Here}


Although April showers are hindering our outdoor time today, spring weather is here and this means we mamas need a few things in preperation! For me that may include a mani/pedi but that is a story for another day... Or perhaps TMI... lol

Which brings me to April's Loving Right Now, a few things I have either purchased or are on my to buy list!


1. Z's little Old Navy rain coat gets so many compliments, this one from Target is also so friggen adorable!

2. I got us matching red Hunter boots!!! I know corny but I needed new ones and I justified the cost with the fact that red is a neutral color and when we have another babe they could wear them too... (seriously it's how I justify any pricey item) #bringontheaprilshowers

3. I have been wearing this camo utility jacket non-stop (under$50!). Mainly over leggings but dreaming about wearing it with a nice striped or floral dress once I find where I packed away my self-tanner

5. I have been raving about this bubble machine because Zoe is obsessed, seriously the best entertainment!!! We even took our to the park. (love this one too!)

6. I have been talking about these since I got them but seriously, I LOVE THEM. It may also be time for some birks... And Z needs these gold moccs to match!!!

7. I bought this Contigo water bottle for Z's Easter basket which she loves and I am obsessed because it is completely water proof!!! (Thinking I need this one to keep drinks cool in the summer!)

9. We bought these mini eames chairs for Z's future playroom (currently in our kitchen), and I love that you don't have to compromise style to be kid-friendly!

10. Since Zoe can be entertained "washing dishes" in our sink for an hour (if I let her) this water/sand table is the first thing we will be adding to our new yard!

I hope you all enjoy the weekend and get a little time to kick up those feet and do something you enjoy (preferrably with a glass of vino!).

{On the Hunt}


I moved back from NYC (kicking and screaming) 3 summers ago and felt like the townhouse O had owned for 13 years was enormous! I mean, I lived in a studio apartment of a 5th floor walk-up in Manhatten's Hells Kitchen and moved into 3 floors +plus a basement (with laundry, storage and a pantry!!!!).

A couple of years later add a babe (with much more stuff than I'd like to admit), our seperate stuff and stuff we've purchased together and this place is filled with a whole-lot-a stuff! My step-daughters room has turned into my walk-in closet (while she is at college in upstate NYC), no playroom, our master is on the 3rd floor (which I hate with a toddler) and and and and. The list of why this place is no longer perfect goes on and on. Which is why we find ourselves On The Hunt (and selling too!).

Things like school systems, family friendly 'hood and of course a cute square or downtown to stroll on the weekends... Do I even dare say a big farmers market and a nice library too... lol Wishlist is long people!!

We have had our hearts broken a couple times in the last few months and it has been with types of homes that we didn't know we'd ever love! Both were contemporaryish, open floor plans, loads of windows, low on projects and overflow of natural light in every corner of the home. Which also means the burbs for us!

{I Got the Bluez}


It all started with a royal blue over sized blazer/coat I scored this weekend... And it's seriously all I can think of. I mean we all know I am a huge fan of turquoise but this bright obnoxious cousin of his, makes me all giddy.

What is it about a new year that has you wanting to toss everything from your closet and start all over?? A start over in mine and little Z's would be Ahhhmazing.


For now I can just search the internets for my next purchases, like those flats... Get in my closet!
