I usually feel a little disappointed when the holidays are over. You know the feeling, the pretty lights get put away, all the scheduled family visits are behind us; and the gifts are all opened! But I do have to say that this year a part of me is really glad. Relieved actually. And ready for 2015. I am so ready to tackle this new year and am thrilled for this fresh start that it brings.
old Michael Kors faux fur vest but similar - old Theory leather sleeved blazer want this one- gifted necklace - Converse Chucks - Chanel Cat eye shades- Gap long sleeved t-shirt
Our "holiday break" was a great one, it's a tradition for us to indulge in lots of movies (we watched this, this, this one, still want to see this one), spent a quiet New Years Eve at home with dinner cooked by O and lots of good champagne. There is also a lot of de-cluttering and purging of excess stuff going on (before the house goes on the market this month!!).
Nothing like a scheduled donations pick-up to force you to at least get a few bags of stuff together!
We also enjoyed a happy hour (Zoe included) at a local joint, which is where I wore this outfit too. I plan on making sure we do a lot more of that this year, maybe sans bebe next time! Can I just say that these pics do not do the hair justice. It is a lot less red than pictured and I am loving it. Another thing I am loving is the faux fur vest, oldie but goodie.
Oh and it's the first day with just the babe and I after dadda has been home for almost two weeks, so wish us luck.
